Spinal Care

Muscle Relief

Chiropractic care at Vitality Chiropractic & Wellness is centered on restoring movement when pain, stiffness, or injury begin to limit how your body functions. Reduced mobility—whether from repetitive stress, training load, injury, or daily life—can affect how you move, perform, and feel over time. Our role is to identify where motion has been lost or altered and help guide your body back toward healthier, more efficient movement.

Active Release Technique (ART) is a hands-on soft tissue mobilization approach used to address restrictions in muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves that can limit mobility and contribute to pain or reduced performance. At Vitality Chiropractic and Wellness, ART is used to restore healthy tissue motion when repetitive strain, training demands, injury, or prolonged postures lead to adhesions and impaired movement.  This soft tissue mobilization technique is valuable for anyone from the elite athelte to office workers. What are these therapies?

Injury Recovery

Physiotherapy at Vitality Chiropractic and Wellness focuses on restoring strength, control, and confidence in movement when pain, injury, or reduced mobility interfere with daily life or performance. While chiropractic care is often associated with spinal adjustments, chiropractors are also trained to assess movement, identify dysfunction, and prescribe condition-specific exercises that support recovery and long-term resilience.

Rehabilitation

Traction

Traction is a technique used to gently stretch the spine or joints to relieve pressure, improve mobility, and reduce discomfort caused by stiffness or nerve irritation. By creating space between vertebrae or joints, traction can help restore alignment, support proper movement, and enhance the effects of chiropractic adjustments. It is particularly helpful for patients experiencing tightness, reduced range of motion, or tension-related discomfort.

Cupping

Cupping is a soft tissue therapy that uses suction to lift and mobilize the skin, fascia, and underlying muscles. This can improve blood flow, reduce muscle tension, and support recovery from overuse or strain. Cupping is commonly used with athletes, active individuals, and anyone looking to relieve localized tightness and promote better tissue mobility.

Soft Tissue Scraping

Soft tissue scraping, also known as instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), uses specialized tools to detect and release restrictions in muscles and connective tissue. This technique helps break down adhesions, improve circulation, and restore optimal tissue function. When combined with chiropractic care and movement-based exercises, soft tissue scraping can enhance flexibility, reduce discomfort, and support faster recovery from repetitive stress or injury.
